New technologies for reducing vineyard inputs and for improving the sustainability of viticulture
In+Vite Project
The plan aims to develop new vineyard management systems that can solve some of the most important problems of hillside viticulture in the Emilia-Romagna region. The general objective of the group is to verify the efficacy of highly innovative management systems that can maximise the effectiveness of external inputs by drastically reducing the application rate. The aim is to guarantee the maintenance of yields and the high quality of production, in relation to the growing pressures linked to climate change, while preserving the vineyard agro-ecosystem from disturbances linked to the excessive and/or incorrect use of the most commonly used inputs.
